We are pleased to be launching a new series series designed to keep Communico users informed about the latest enhancements and changes to the platform. In addition to posting to the blog, all Administrators will be emailed a summary of the most recent and significant updates that have been made. We've been thrilled to see so many of you begin the reopening process and are glad that Schedule has been able to help you reconnect with patrons. As of July 1, over 200,000 appointments had been booked. That is a lot of happy patrons!
We hope your reopening plans are going smoothly and you’re finding our new Schedule module helpful. We recognize the urgency for this tool which is why the engineering team has been working overtime to expedite improvements and add new features with lightning speed.
The engineering team closed out May with a productive week, completing two high-priority updates to Schedule. Additional updates are planned for this week along with major milestones for Roam Lite and adding self-check to Engage.
Earlier this week we launched our new appointment module, Schedule. Although most libraries are implementing Schedule for curbside pickup or pedestrian pickup appointments, it was developed with enough flexibility to facilitate other types of bookings. Examples of others use cases include homework help sessions, time with a reference librarian or passport services.
