March 2021 Product Updates

3/12/21 12:28 PM / by Marcie Felner

We’re starting the month with a collection of small but frequently-requested updates to Attend, Roam and Schedule. We'll be taking a closer look at some of these updates in an upcoming webinar.

A number of stability-related updates have also been completed in recent weeks as well as significant progress on the product updates our CEO & Founder Paul Quelch shared during his Q1 Open House.

As with all updates, we recommend clearing your cache and cookies before trying out any of our newly released features. If you have questions around any of the updates please do not hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success Manager or email support@communico.us.

ATTEND

Zoom Webinar now supported

In addition to Zoom Meetings, Attend now integrates with Zoom Webinar. Once the webinar feature has been enabled, you will see the webinar configuration options appear when creating a new event. Simply select an available Webinar account from the drop-down menu, set your preferences and you’re all set!

Having these additional controls allows you to tailor each event to observe your desired settings on an event-by-event basis. You have the option to associate the event with either a physical or virtual venue or, you can forego a venue if you’d like.

Zoom Webinar Settings

You may use the Communico registration option along with Zoom Webinar, letting you streamline your workflow by allowing you to see and control all of your registrant information in one place.

If you’d like to use this new feature, please have your library’s implementation contact reach out to support@communico.us and ask them to enable it for you. Please note that a Zoom Webinar account is required to use Zoom Webinar within Attend. If you’ve previously implemented the Zoom integration for use with Attend, Reserve or Schedule, you will not have to provide us with your API credentials again.

ROAM

SSO support for Roam

SAML-based sign-on from any SAML provider such as Azure Active Directory and Microsoft ADFS is now supported for Roam. New users can be created automatically and mapped to user roles inside Communico. Communico’s SSO solution also works with existing users, there is no need to recreate permissions or migrate users already on the Communico platform, they can login right away.

If you are interested in configuring single sign-on, please email support@communico.us and the team can help you with configuration.

SCHEDULE

Filter appointments by category

As Schedule expands into a robust module the use cases expand with it. It’s not efficient to have all of your appointments intermingled on your appointment listing page so we’ve added category-based filtering to help!

In addition to filtering by location, status, and date, you may now filter by category as well, making it easier and faster to find the appointments you’re looking for.
