Our latest enhancements to the platform.

January Product Updates

1/13/21 1:55 PM / by Marcie Felner

Our first set of platform updates of 2021 will be live tomorrow before 8am ET. Additionally, registration is now open for our January customer webinars. We're planning two exciting sessions that will be beneficial to all Communico users.

On Wednesday, January 20th, Communico Founder & CEO Paul Quelch will be hosting a special session to share details about the platform enhancements in development for the first quarter. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions or product enhancement requests they'd like to share with Paul during the Q&A.

Our Zoom integration for Schedule will be released next week and our January 27th webinar will take a closer look at how you can use this feature for virtual appointments. Information about this integration including how to have it added to your implementation and setup instructions will be posted to the blog next week.

As with all updates, we recommend clearing your cache and cookies before trying out any of our newly released features. If you have questions around any of the updates please do not hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success Manager or email support@communico.us.

ATTEND

Event reference number

An event reference number is now included in both the patron event postponement and cancellation emails, making it easier for patrons to locate their event registration information using the ‘My Events’ tool.

Virtual event access details

The Zoom meeting ID and password are now included in the Control Panel Events listing. Staff can easily confirm the Zoom access details and share with patrons.

'Undefined' message when creating an event without a venue

We have released a bug fix for an ‘undefined’ message that was appearing when an event was created without a venue associated with it.

SCHEDULE

Appointment limitations

Just like you can within Reserve, you may now set appointment limitations within Schedule. Limitations can be enforced by making either a library card or an email address a required field. You’ll be able to limit the number of appointments a patron may make over a specific time period.Schedule appointment limits

RESERVE

Virtual room reservation details
