In addition to this product update, I have details to share regarding a spotlight series for Attend events as well as the launch of our Tiny Library.

ENHANCEMENT: New Look & Feel
Welcome to the new “look” of Communico’s Control Panel. This update introduces a streamlined look and feel to the Communico Control Panel, embracing user experience and interface best practices. Please note: this update will not introduce any new functionality. All of your familiar processes, reports, and widgets will not change. In addition, there is nothing you and your team need to do for this update to take place. Ready to take a look? Log in to the Control Panel today.
ENHANCEMENT: Library Hours Exceptions
Understanding that even the best-laid plans may need to be altered at the last minute, we have introduced new functionality to set exceptions to your default hours using a date range. This enhancement allows you to temporarily amend opening hours for branches or individual rooms for an extended period, rather than having to apply them one day at a time. For additional details on how to implement exceptions, please check out this handy “how-to” guide.

Some of you may have seen our new Attend spotlight series, promoting the many fantastic events that our partners are managing through Communico. For this month’s spotlights, we’ve included an overview of events honoring Black History Month and Library Lovers Month. Be on the lookout next month as we celebrate Read Across America as well as the start of spring.

LANGUAGE UPDATE
As you may recall, we announced three product name changes during our 2022 product roadmap presentation in December 2021. We will now begin to apply those changes across our platform and communications channels. Below is a quick reminder of the names; you will start to see these adjustments take effect in the coming days and weeks.
- Connect, our connection engine will now be referred to as Exchange
- Check, our self-check module will now be referred to as Interact
- Engage, our customer app will now be referred to as Connect
