The engineering team closed out May with a productive week, completing two high-priority updates to Schedule. Additional updates are planned for this week along with major milestones for Roam Lite and adding self-check to Engage.
In late May we shared a list of planned updates to Schedule, our new appointment module. We had two requests that we moved to the top of the list based on your feedback. The first was requesting we make adjustments to headers and footers. I am pleased to let you know that we have made additional adjustments and your new patron-facing Schedule pages are now an exact match to your other Communico pages.
The second was the ability to restrict how far out in advance patrons are allowed to schedule an appointment, much like you currently can with Reserve. We understand the necessity of this functionality which is why we made a point to expedite adding this to Schedule, allowing you greater control over your appointment availability.
In addition, you may also use our simple toggle to prevent same-day bookings. These new controls can be found on the individual group settings page.

The team is wrapping up the final round of internal testing on both Roam Lite and our Engage Self-Check feature. We are aiming to have this available next week to all libraries that have provided us with their configuration details. You may provide us with a test card and pin that has items already checked out on it and has reached the limit for a specific item type. For example, if you are only allowed to check out 5 DVD's, we can attempt to check out a 6th to verify the system is respecting your checkout limits.
