Customer Success - Year End Updates, Reminders, and Tips!

As 2023 is ending, I wanted to share tips and tricks from the Customer Success and Support teams to help you bring 2023 to a close and prepare for 2024. 

End of the Year Check-in 

This fall has been a whirlwind of activity! Since I joined the Communico team in late August, I’ve had the privilege to meet many of our library partners. It is always a pleasure to meet with our libraries and learn how they use Attend, Reserve, Broadcast, Schedule and other products to engage with their patrons and communities.

If I have not yet had the opportunity to meet with you, please find a time on my calendar to meet.  I’m more than happy to get on a Zoom call and answer any questions you have or talk about what’s on your mind. As a fellow librarian, I also appreciate a good book recommendation if you have one! 

Library hours and Exceptions

As we head into the holiday season, don’t forget to update your library’s hours and closed days (exceptions) in the Control Panel! These hours will be updated platform wide on event pages, mobile app and anywhere else the location widget is used, and you can enter exceptions into the system as far in advance as you'd like.

Headers, footers, and navigation menus

This is also a wonderful time to check your headers and footers on your Communico hosted pages, especially if you have not built your website using the CMS. 

If your library has a website redesign or made updates to the header and footer on your main site, we can update the Communico pages for you. These are set up at the time of onboarding, and reviewed annually by your Customer Success Manager, but it’s a good idea to check these pages from time to time to be sure they still match the rest of your site! 

Programming Plans 

Libraries are continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of their communities. Event programming in digital literacy, community engagement, MakerSpace labs may be part of your 2024 event planning.

As you make your 2024 programming plans, don’t hesitate to use the skills of your dedicated Customer Success Manager. Your CSM can help you plan how to best achieve your goals with your platform. They are experts in our modules, and they love hearing from our partners and helping you achieve your goals.
